A birthday post!

It's been an exceptionally busy couple of weekends for me, leaving little time for me to sit down to write a post. However, I couldn't let another day go by without constructing something new. Why? Well, because it's my birthday - and at the dawning of another year of me, I find myself feeling more introspective than I've been for any birthday before this one. Last year, I turned thirty. As you can imagine, it was a big deal. A milestone birthday to remember. My mom gave me a gift every day for a week and then made this gigantic cake that looked like a stack of books with my name on them. My friends helped me celebrate, and my co-workers took me out for a wild night only they could contrive. And when it was all said and done, I had my goals, my ambitions, and my dreams that I threw over my shoulder as I set out to make thirty my best year yet. I'm not entirely sure I succeeded. In fact, I'm sure I didn't. Though, I can't say I'm disappointed. ...

The Hashtag Adventure

I blinked, and it was the end of September. I'm not entirely sure how that happened - but here we are. For the last couple of months, I've had the pleasure of participating in a couple of writer's Instagram challenges. I joined #romancewritersaugust after I'd randomly stumbled across it in my feed. @artisdigitalmedia manages my Instagram. I'm so grateful for our partnership, as her work allows me to interact with readers on my favorite platform while still directing most of my spare time toward my writing. Though, she's been trying to get me to offer a personal touch to the daily posts for a while. It was something I wanted, for sure; and every time she gave me a prompt, I could respond - but to have an entire month's worth of posts to supply her with ammunition was like gold. I don't usually do abs, but...

Tethered's release is right around the corner, and I thought it was about time I give it a proper cover reveal. What better way to honor book two in the Savior Series than by posting about it in my first ever blog post? I don't usually do abs on my covers - but this time, it was a must. Tethered is the dark and rough to Guarded's light and soft; and while Leo and Jill's relationship is anything but easy and gentle, their love is deep and beautiful.
